Richard McDermott
Richard McDermott is a reverse mortgage specialist with more than 16 years of banking experience. Before joining the NJ Lenders family in Spring 2022, Richard was Vice President, Director of Reverse Mortgages, and Business Banker at Investors Bank, where he earned the Top Deposits Volume Award. Richard is best recognized for his ability to build partnerships that make a difference in his community and has been certified by the Dale Carnegie Management Program for leadership training.
A recipient of New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association Silver Card, Richard has strong relationships with First Responders and New Jersey State Police. Richard is a Trustee of the Middlesex 200 Club, and a recipient of the Uniformed Firefighters Association of NYC Award for Support and Fundraising after September 11, 2001.
Outside of work, Richard is a sponsor and participant in various events for organizations that support children with special needs. He has also received resolutions from the Woodbridge Township Board of Education.
Richard is authorized to lend in New Jersey.
